Disney announced their Lakeshore Lodge opening for July 1, 2027. Reservations in October 2026. I have an inquiry to find out if they are selling DVC. Any news?
I don't quite get it. not a premium location or views and massive size....

Bingo. I agree. It also screws up the Bay Lake skyline as well as Fort Wilderness. The Rooms look nice and the pool area also looks cool, but with that many rooms, it maybe just wall to wall people. Not My Thing. Anyone else not like the new 1/2 BR floor plan. I dont like the kitchen just being a long wall of cabinets. Much prefer the kitchens at the older resorts. It is a clever use of space, but just does not feel like a kitchen.
All that being said, I will go look as I'm sure it will be impressive.

yup. we owned at copper creek and then sold and bought back at POLY which is now our home resort. it is also crowded but the location is great. Here the location is just far far.
I think i would go back to owning at copper creek if i were to want something back in the area of Lakeshore again. But i am honestly confused by the excitement for this one - sure the pool looks great but we dont spend that much time at hotel pools while at WDW....
what i would really want to add to POLY is an EPCOT area resort!
FWIW I really really like the concept art and what I’ve seen so far, but totally understand others’ reservations. As a resale only owner, this one has me debating how much longer i can hold off in buying direct 🤣
