We are heading out on Star of the Seas next month and I'm so excited. We got to experience one of the shorter preview cruises on Star last year. Icon Class ships are my favorite cruise ship design ever and Star is currently the best! I can't wait to spend a full week with friends on this beautiful ship cruising the Eastern Caribbean.

We were on the Oasis of the Seas last June, and had a pretty good time. The ship is starting to show some wear and tear, but overall a good trip. We are going to be on the Disney Treasure June 27-July 4th! Can’t wait for this trip.

We did Oasis in the Med. It was nice, but I agree it's getting a little worn since it was the first Oasis class ship. You should definitely give an Icon Class ship or a newer Oasis class (Wonder, Utopia) a try.

Have a great time! My wife and I also did one of the short inaugural cruises on the Star also and it's an amazing ship! It was our first time on an Icon class ship. Our next cruise won't be until September and we'll be going on the Utopia for the first time, I can't wait!

Yeah, we definitely want to. We are doing a big DW and DCL trip this June….I might have to take out a 2nd mortgage lol 😂 RC has been a great alternative, with great service, and much cheaper! Well…relatively speaking lol

@YamKriegs - What are your thoughts after a week on Star? We are between a 6 night on Star and a 7 night on Legend in March of 2027. Can't decide.

Well, best laid plans…. Had to cancel RC Cabo trip for scheduling issues that came up. Have pivoted to a short February trip on Brilliance of the Seas to the Bahamas. Not quite the same thing, but hopefully we’ll be a nice relaxing time. We have Vero Beach booked for three nights after the cruise, and taking Derek‘s advice, reserved a deluxe inn Ocean view.
Hope you all have a great time on the key holder cruise coming up.
