Car Service Recommendations from LAX to Disneyland (Traveling with Toddler)
Hello all, We’re planning our first trip to Disneyland and are so excited! Our travel party is my wife, myself, and our 1.5‑year‑old. We typically use Minnie Vans at Disney World because they provide a car seat and saves us from carrying one through the airport. We’ll be flying in and out of LAX and would love recommendations for a car service similar to Lansky. Thanks!

We have always found Uber/Lyft to be easy when flying into any Disneyland airport. We have done LAX and SNA several times and Long Beach once too. There is a car seat option as well in certain cities. I would imagine LAX would offer the car seat option. Here is Uber's car seat info: https://www.uber.com/us/en/ride/car-seat/?city=wichita.
There are a lot of other options out there too, but I don't have any personal experience with them. Here is an example: https://anaheimtowncarservices.com/disneyland.php

We travelled to Disneyland for the first time in April 2024 and our party consisted of four adults including my pregnant daughter.
My research led me to book a private shuttle with Karmel Shuttle and I highly recommend them.
They made the process smooth with detailed email instructions and phone calls when we landed at LAX.
Vehicle was spotless and our driver was very friendly and pointed out landmarks.
The private shuttle was a direct drive to our resort which we wanted.

Do you know if Karmel provides car seats ? I thought I saw online they don't.

We just got back and had a great experience with Anaheim Town Car Services. Prices are relative to what we pay when we visit Disneyworld. Would definitely use them again.
We had a great experience with Lansky. They provided car seats. We accidentally left an item in the car and they dropped it off at bell services the next day. We also had to cancel our Disneyland trip a few months ago (kids got the flu) and they refunded our fee, minus the credit card processing fee, two days prior to our scheduled pick up.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I ended up picking Anaheim Town Car Services. I'll let the thread know how it went when we return!

We always just took a car seat and had our kids sit in it while on the plane. It was good for them to sleep comfortably and we found it somewhat simple. Good workout at times packing it around! Also, we just rent a car via Costco just to get us to groceries, GCV, and the Alamo on Katella. Then rent another for the way back. It is most cost effective for us per our travel party size. My wife and I have used Prime Time Shuttle when just the two of us. You could use this service bringing your own car seat and/or with a group of people selecting the service needed to accommodate. It is easy and cost effective. LA Private Car Service is another company that you can use that offer transportation and car seat rentals. More options for anyone looking.
Are you 100% opposed to bringing a car seat onto the plane? That's what we did with our son at ages 17 months, 3 years, 5 years. We tethered it to a wheeled carryon while going through the airport so it wasn't too much of a pain to carry or anything like that. Then just put it on his seat on the plane and strapped him in. I think it really helped keep him happy and comfortable on the flight. (And it would be the safest set up if there had been turbulence or any kind of emergency landing.)
Here's our son at 17 months. We also brought that little tray in front of him. But found it probably wasn't necessary and didn't bring it on the other trips.
