It seems a growing number of you have stumbled into at least Level 1 of the dungeon. Some of you may still be clinging to your dignity. Others… well… let’s just say the dungeon has already taken what it wanted.
Let us be clear. There is no escape. Only progression.
Somewhere between discussing Disney Vacation Club and arguing about the McRib, many of you have discovered the absolute chaos that is Dungeon Crawler Carl. A place where:

Every day when I get home my husband asks for an update on where I am in the book and then has to bite his tongue from giving away spoilers. 😂

Currently on Book 2. My partner and I are listening it together, and it helps that he's a gamer and we're both played a little DnD so the references are hilarious. Every time we get stuck in Orlando traffic, we knock out another chapter, so i'm sure we'll be on book 3 within the week. 🤣
I would say my favorite character is the narrator, who reads with such a Patrick Warburton cadence that it's like being read to by Kronk every day. And that is a joy unto itself, lol.
Donut is unequivocally, absolutely royal. If her title somehow proves to be a joke from the game, I'm confident that Donut will just establish a religious oligarchy and the House of Donut will reign.

I'm on book 2! I am a HUGE gamer so my fiance, Taylor (who is a huge reader and librarian) discovered this series and told me I HAD to read it. And i enjoy it a lot! If you aren't doing the audiobook, you are missing out (what is wrong with you).

Favorite character... probably Carl or Quasar. I don't see a spoiler function, so I'll just say Alpha <name> is also one of my favs :)

Has anyone actually read the books versus the audiobook? We're going on a cruise soon, and I'm thinking of taking books 4,5, and 6 to read versus audio. I guess I have the narrator in my head now, so that's all that really matters.

So....I started to read book 7 since the audiobook wasn't out yet (at the time), but it just wasn't the same. I ended up just waiting for the audiobook.

Has anybody backed the TTRPG? I just finished book 1 so I didn't want to read the whole Backerkit page. Does it seem complete or does it seem like something they'll keep expanding?

I had not heard of Dungeon Crawler until you mentioned it, but immediately went searching for it. I could only find it on Audible (and am currently out of credits) so I haven't started it yet, but really looking forward to it. Will post updates once I've begun!

PS - Yes book seven is missing and got delayed in shipping but I couldn’t wait to show this off.
My wife and i have both listened to the audiobook and read the e-book versions. We are strongly thinking about buying the physical books just so we can read the pineapple cabaret chapter thats in the back of them.
Okay now you all have made me check my audible credits bank. I just got the first book, thanks all for the recommendation, there does seem to be a lot of hype behind this series!
