Welcome fellow CCV enthusiasts! I recently bought CCV during the 2026 flash sale and locked in a week 50 guaranteed week! I can’t wait to see the winter decorations and spend time there with my family.

Please share your thoughts and experiences with this amazing resort.

Love CCV, congrats on locking down that week! It can be tough to book certain dates with the heavy point allocation in the cabins.

We enjoy geyser point, the pool and the feeling of being at Disney but not really at Disney. The property just hits different!

That’s what’s great about DVC is all the properties have there own personalities and it makes them all unique!

Welcome Home! I've been a CCV owner since 2019 (bought resale) and just added on 150 points direct in January 2026. We mostly stay in 2 bedroom villas at CCV. We've tried a few other resorts, but CCV always calls us back. We are trying a 2 bdrm villa at BRV in October. Wilderness Lodge is our favorite WDW resort and there isn't a close second for us.

Couldn't get a CCV 1BR for the 3 nights we need in December so we're considering splurging on a cabin. They always seem to be available. Is it only because they're a lot of points or are they also overrated? Can't lie - we stayed in a Poly bungalow and it was a one and done for me.

I haven't personally stayed in the cabins, but they look wonderful to me. I think generally they are available due to the high point cost.

The cabins always have availability because of the high point value. We prefer the cabins over the Bungalows due to the hot tub. Many times the plunge pool in the Poly bungalow is too cold. When we come for NYE we like to book a cabin for the first few days of January and enjoy the hot tub. We are going to give the bungalows another try this July to see if the plunge pool temperature is better in the summer heat.

CCV enthusiast/owner since 2018. I love the resort and the lobby is even more stunning around the holidays once the 🎄 is up!

I've stayed in CCV cabins on two separate occasion. They are great, peaceful, especially if you are on a resort or down days. IMHO request for a cabin closest to the boat launch.

We got to enjoy a bucket list item this past November when we came back late one night from a MVMCP and got to see them setting up the tree.

CCV is the one resort where we feel like we are not at Disney, even with the Disney theming. It just transports us every time

Howdy from TX,

We originally attempted to purchase resale at AKL; but Disney exercised the ROFR. I continued to look around and CCV popped up (the resort hadn’t been selling for long) so we jumped on it. Since that initial 200 we added 125 direct because of the incentive coming out of COVID, and then in the last year or so added 200 resale at Aulani. I couldn’t be more happy that the malaise ate our AKL plans and we were able to secure CCV, no matter when we go we have to stay at least some time at the lodge. It truly is home, especially at the holidays.

Closing on CCV as we speak. Wife and I did all our college in the PNW/Mountain West, so Copper Creek reminds us of our time there.

Ahhh, I would LOVE to stay in a cabin...Alas, one night in one is nearly my yearly allocation of points, so it probably will never happen. I don't think they're available because of being overraterd, but because of the high point cost. If you haven't yet, you should check out the DVC fan youtube walkthrough of the cabins ( I think they have two now). They're soo beautiful! I would love to live in one :)

Hi! My husband and I have owned at CCV since 2018. WL will always hold a special place in our hearts, because we stayed there on our honeymoon in 2001. We’ll be staying in a cabin in June for our 25th anniversary.
