I'm getting serious Aulani vibes...
Years ago I would have said OKW because it's a bigger room and costs fewer points. However, after they bifurcated the points at SSR between Standard and Preferred often times it is cheaper to stay at SSR and they knocked it out of the park with the room refurbishments, something OKW now really needs badly (hopefully th
Hot Takes: Turf Club Lounge is the most underrated lounge at WDW Turf Club Restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in Disney dining I never eat at the Crystal Palace - when I was 11 (1981) we ate at the Crystal Palace. There were birds flying around inside the restaurant and the bleu cheese dressing (same approximat
Make sure you spend time exploring the hotels. All three of them are great and you can easily walk to all of them.
I also wouldn't mind seeing them bring something like this to WDW -https://disneyland.disney.go.com/guest-services/hotel-park-benefits/ I realize it is more complicated because there are so many more hotels and only two more parks but maybe give people the option of choosing early entry or a free LL.
Free Fast Passes aren't coming back so I'm not going there so I will say that I actually liked the version where we made our LLs day of combined with the two hour rule. That allowed me to develop an effective evening strategy for the theme parks by booking my first LL for a little after 4:00pm (let's assume 8:00am park
We considered the Quick Service Dining Plan (two Quick Service Meals) and realized that for it to be "worthwhile" we have to get an adult beverage every time and we decided that might not be the best thing.
We could sit here all day and argue about what is more economical but I will take paying DVC dues every time over paying property taxes, home owner's insurance, and condo fees along with having to deal with actually taking care of and maintain the place. A big part of the reason we've invested heavily in DVC is so we h
We love Riviera too, loved it so much we bought there in 2022 despite having two contracts with SSR already and looking to inherit a substantial amount of points from OKW and BRV. Agree with you 100% on the 1BRs too, as one friend of mine said, "It's not about going more, it's about going better."
So I can speak to this directly as my parents have been doing long retirement stays for awhile with their last one being in 2025. They are now 90 and not in great health so they cannot go anymore. Of course that means my wife and I just took possession of a fat amount of points split evently between BRV and OKW to go a
The restrooms in the MK in the access way between Adventure Land, Frontier Land, and Liberty Square are the most strategically located in the MK because you can easily get to them from three different lands.
We used to renew our APs so yeah, it's great...
I think part of the problem is the members themselves. DVC rooms get used hard and some members go too far in terms of how they treat those rooms. Sometime ago this was actually a topic of one of Amy and Paul's videos and I remember Paul saying something along the lines of walking by rooms with the door open while peop
Try birding at Disney World, lots of colorful birds to look at...
I am going to be modest and realistic - get rid of the chip readers for mugs and just have free soda/coffee/tea or whatever at the drink stations at DVC resorts. We pay thousands of dollars to join DVC and pay thousands of dollars in fees over the lifetime of a contract. Free non-alcoholic beverages is not too much to
I agree, if you are going to associate a resort with a park, it needs to have some form of special access to that park.
I know at Disneyland they've started experimenting with resort guests get a free LL instead early entry and for me I would rather have a free LL than early entry. To me early entry just means you shift standing in line for a ride to standing in line outside the park. I realize at Disneyland they only have three hotels
In fairness I think right now it is a safety issue due to construction, hence the KEEP OUT sign at the entrance to the old path.
