Annual Passes or No?

Ah, we are in similar situations and when I have pitched a similar strategy to my wife, beyond the switching of rooms bit her reply is usually along the lines of, "We bought the points so we don't have to pay for rooms."

Best Balconies?
Old Key West and it's not even close. The Villas at Key West have big balconies with a nice table and chairs that you can actually use. Other resorts have tiny balconies you can barely fit on.

If you don't renew and there is some sort of world event (like COVID) that causes APs to be suspended for awhile, you may not have the option to get one, at least not for some time. My favorite arrival strategy is getting there mid to late afternoon. If we are flying (Southwest from BWI) it means we are not getting crazy early for a morning flight. Yeah, it was the first leg of the Wonder's repositioning cruise down to Sydney. It was amazing. Port calls in Honolulu, Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island before we got off in Honolulu. If nothing else go to Stanley Park to see the totem poles and hike around it is really nice.

Too bad you are not hitting Icy Strait Point, I love that port call. Very low key. Also, not sure what your Vancouver plans are but there are a lot of fun excursions to do there as well. We did the Vancouver to Hawaii cruise this past fall and stayed in the Fairmont Waterfront across from the cruise pier. Very nice hot

Don't know if I'll buy there but I can't wait to stay there. Just returned from a recent stay at Boulder Ridge and got a great look at the new construction. Those A Frame cabins look big. I hope they have a second floor loft.
