Buying & Selling DVC

The Disneyland DVC Conundrum - what to buy?

If I had to do it all over again, I would buy VGC direct. I bought a VGC resale contract but I didn't really save that much over the direct price. VGC is where I want to stay, but it'd be nice to have the flexibility to stay at VDH with those VGC points. I can still stay at VDH using my other direct points though. Anot

AddOn-Itis - how do you know when?

When you can no longer afford the annual dues or every time you pay your annual dues you shudder at how expensive they are 🀣 Truthfully, you really need to figure out how often you go to Disney, roughly when and what size room to know how many points you need each year. DVC does re-evaluate the point "seasons" every once in awhile, last time they did this, they increased the point cost for Oct-Nov to

Early Dec is one of the most competitive times, but it is possible to find availability if you stalk the website. Waitlists are not impossible either. Would you consider doing a split stay and do 1-2 nights at a Monorail resort and the rest at OKW? That might be more likely.

Disney World β€œPro” vs. 1st time DLand

A couple of tips: Disneyland works differently from Disney World for Lightning Lane Multipass if you plan on buying it - you can buy it with your tickets (I recommend doing this) but it works like Genie+ did at WDW. You book your first ride day of, and it happens once you scan into the park instead of at 7am. This make
