If I had to do it all over again, I would buy VGC direct. I bought a VGC resale contract but I didn't really save that much over the direct price. VGC is where I want to stay, but it'd be nice to have the flexibility to stay at VDH with those VGC points. I can still stay at VDH using my other direct points though. Anot

Early Dec is one of the most competitive times, but it is possible to find availability if you stalk the website. Waitlists are not impossible either. Would you consider doing a split stay and do 1-2 nights at a Monorail resort and the rest at OKW? That might be more likely.

DisneySea is definitely unique, there is no other Disney park like it. While Tokyo Disneyland is similar to other castle parks around the world, it has some unique rides that make it worth visiting like Pooh's Hunny Hunt and Enchanted Tales with Beauty and the Beast being highlights.
