Timeline on getting points?

It took like 10 days for our points to show up when we bought in February

Don't have experience with resale, but direct points are added same day you agree to buy even before you sign the official documents.

Its been movong lightning fast.

My contract closed and recorded on Monday and the points were loaded by Saturday morning.

based on that, i am really hoping my contract shows up soon... I don't want to have to wait six weeks!

It took a few weeks for our first resale contract last year. But the second, that I bought last month, took 7 days.

Hmmmm. Im still waiting. It’ll be 14 days this Monday since we closed. Its weird how some people get their points within a few days.

Have you checked the comptroller site to make sure it was recorded?

Yeah. It shows the deed as filed on 4-20.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but how do I check the comptroller site?

Here’s the link to the comptroller’s website: https://selfservice.or.occompt.com/ssweb/user/disclaimer

I sure wish I'd known about that site when I was waiting for my points. I still got the warm and fuzzies just checking out and seeing my deeds filed online.

Mine was posted on 4-20. No idea why i haven’t gotten any notification yet. I know the official line is to wait 4-6 weeks but it seems lime everyone online is getting theur points within days.

Our deed was recorded on 4/30, will update you all when we get our points loaded.

Our deed was recorded 4/29. Poly resale. Points were loaded today. (7 days total wait). Had 200 additional points for the current use year that were not disclosed. Plannng another trip tonight!

Do you already own or are you a new DVC member? We are waiting for our points to load and we are new DVC members.

We already owned direct. Based on the emails i received, i dont think it should change your timeline. Fingers crossed for you.

We got our points late last night. So exactly 7 days. :) Now to booking and stalking the website because we want to stay at Bay Lake Tower one bedroom in October.

Welcome home!

Monday will be 21 days for us. I'm sure I'll need to wait the full 45 days before someone acknowledges something went wrong. lol. This is why I don't leave reviews until EVERYTHING is complete.

Thank you!

The company that handled the title processing was kind enough to reach out to Disney for us, and boom, we got our welcome home email. Got the activation code, but not our ID yet. I guess these come in two separate emails. Hopefully points aren't too far behind.

What title company did you use if you dont mind me asking?

Magic Vacation Title were the folks that handled everything.

Just to give an update - we got our emails from the title company May 19th and a May 22nd confirmation on deed being recorded. We received our points today - May 26th. Pretty quick turn around.

We're currently waiting to hear back from one of my friends that bought a contract for. It closed a couple days before ours and they haven't received an email yet. I'm wondering if that has to do with them not being existing DVC members.

I'm also a new member and closed my contract on 22nd May with DVC title & Escrow who informed me Disney would be notified with the change of ownership within 24-48hrs. Will keep you updated on how long it takes for me.

You had a very quick turnaround so hoping mine can be quick too!

The one we got for our friends closed yesterday. We went out to celebrate and plan for the upcoming trip. ;) I was surprised after it said it could take 6 weeks. I've never been to Boardwalk but it sure looks like a great time being able to just walk right into the park.
