What is an extra that is worth the value?
We have done a lot of resort stays the last few years. When we do these, we like to do something extra, even if it costs money since we are not doing parks. What have you done that you feel is worth it, even if it is in the park?
I highly recommend the pontoon fireworks cruise out of Yacht Club for the Epcot fireworks. We did for my dad's birthday. There was 9 of us. I feel it was worth the price!

Our son loves playing soccer, and a few years back we did a round of footgolf over at the Oak Trail golf course. It was a lot of fun and something completely different from our normal park trips.

We enjoyed a evening mini-golfing. We went right after some storms rolled through, so we had to wait a little for them to clean up and open. We golfed straight through with hardly anybody there.

I haven't done many extras at the resorts, but I do think that the Keys to the Kingdom tour was totally worth it for an in-park extra. You get to learn all sorts of fun facts about the Magic Kingdom, and it was really cool to see backstage.
Happy to call the BoardWalk, Bay Lake Tower, and Grand Floridian home!

Never even heard of this. Going in June, so will look into it. Thanks for the idea!

We have done that too! Loved it. The next tour we are thinking about is the one in Animal Kingdom where you walk in the air over the animals! There are also a bunch of teachers that I work with that are thinking about doing a trip together and doing a VIP tour. Unfortunately we can't do it this summer and get the 20% off.

I was going to do that one, but changed my mind to Epcot. I wasn't sure if I would like not seeing all the illuminations on the castle and main street. Enjoy and please let me know how you liked it!

Keys to the Kingdom is worth every penny in my opinion. 5 hours of a great tour, a few cut the line rides, lunch, and of course going into the utilidoors. WORTH IT!

I agree! The Wild Africa Trek is amazing. I wasn't sure if I could walk across the alligators. However, it is a thrill. You are more than safe, all hooked up! The animals we got to see, the lessons from our tour guides, and the snack at the end. 10 out of 10. I'd do it again!

most of the extras are where you really find the Disney difference.... I hope they continue to offer these kinds of products for a while!
We rented a cabana at Typhoon Lagoon and that was worth every cent! One of our best Disney days ever.
I still talk about the Wild Africa Trek 12 years later - one of my favorite Disney memories of all time.
I also really enjoyed Hoop De Doo Revue.

Relooking at my Wild Africa Trek pictures. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! And, they take all the pictures for you. Such good quality!

We also rented a cabana there once and were up overlooking the wave pool. It was awesome and something I'd love to do again.
Keys to the Kingdom is definitely worth it, plus you get a discount :).
Oh, the old pirate cruise at Yacht Club! My son still talks about that and he's 24 now lol. Worth every dime because kids went alone lol.
