What are all your best tips for surviving a summer and early fall trips - those hot and humid days. Off the wall tips not the stuff you see everywhere (afternoon breaks, pack ponchos, etc).

Obviously a refillable water bottle and make sure you get ice water from a QS restaurant and stay hydrated.

Forget the Disney shirts, sweat wicking shirts are a must. Not only do they help keep you cool, they are quick dry so if it does rain your clothes dry quickly. You can also get quick drying shorts.

I also bought a misting fan, Disney sells them in the parks but you can buy a small handheld one that is rechargeable from Amazon. This is the one I bought but they have different models I'm sure online: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DTHQWJ9P

I also like cooling towels, these ones are great from Mission - https://www.amazon.com/MISSION-Cooling-Evaporative-Instantly-Protection/dp/B07YN8DWST

Also buying sun screen that isn't too heavy. Unfortunately the USA is behind the times on sun screens, the FDA hasn't updated the allowable sun screen ingredients since 1999, so they're 26 years behind. I've found asian sun screens to be a lot better, particularly Korean brands. It is a lot more expensive to buy now than it used to be, but it can make you feel a lot less hot when you're wearing a lighter feeling sun screen.
