Who's looking forward to Disney Celebrates America this summer?

I’ll be there for a week including 4th of July weekend at VGF! What should I expect? Super excited for the 250th celebration 🎉

Not going to be there for the 4th, but I am looking forward to Soarin' Over America!

My next trip is not until December, but i am glad they are doing a big celebration. My first trip to WDW was during the bicentennial celebration in 1976. I have fun memories of the decor, parade and character costumes from that celebration.

Hopefully a better Fireworks show at least. They will be live streaming from MK:

The celebration will culminate on the July 4th weekend with a 24-hour, multi-platform broadcast, “Disney Celebrates America,” highlighting America’s 250th anniversary events nationwide across Disney’s linear networks and streaming platforms, including Disney+, Hulu, ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX and National Geographic, ending with a special evening fireworks broadcast from Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.

We’ll be there. Staying at poly tower. We can’t wait. We have been the last couple of years on the 4th.

We will be at Disneyland for 3 nights over the 4th of July weekend! Very excited about spending amazing milestone for USA with all the fireworks.

I want to go this summer so much that I tried to talk my friends into a late June trip😂 they said no boo. New Soarin’ and Big Thunder!

We will be meeting Brianna's brother and niece at Disneyland for 4 days over the July 4th Weekend. Should be pretty special celebrating the 250th and the end of the 70th at the same time!

I had a July 4th wk reservation at SSR but had to cancel. I’m bummed to miss the celebration there.

We will be there for the week of the 4th. We will do doing our annual summer trip to VB for a few days and then a few more at WDW - Staying at BLT. I am looking forward to Soarin. It is one of my favorite attractions - love the music.

I won't be there till late July but I am very excited to see Soarin' Over America.

We’re flying in on 7/3 and are planning to hit Blizzard Beach that day. We’re staying at the Poly Island Tower and definitely want to catch the fireworks from there multiple nights. Other than that, we’re trying to figure out what parks make the most sense.

Though we’d love to check out any special park theming, we’d also value avoiding where the crowds are… so we might avoid MK and/or EPCOT until Monday, when the weekend is over.

The fireworks certainly will be hectic, but being in the middle of the 360 degree fireworks at MK is an experience!

Totally understand though, we usually avoid them for the same reasons.

I dont always ride Soarin anymore., its never reallhy bothered me but the older I get the more sensitive my vertigo is. but I will probably ride it at least once so I can see the new Over America version

Completely understand, as I get older it gets hard to ride the "thrill" rides, although Soarin isn't that "thrilling", it can be on a "bad" day.

But I, too will ride Soarin Over America!

We will be at BLT 7/3-7/6 then move over to Kidani for the rest of our trip. We are hoping to see lots of 250 celebrations and dodge crowds, if thats even possible. We’ll go to MK for Liberty Tree dinner 7/3 and find a minimally crowded spot wherever to catch the fireworks (maybe new fantasyland?). We’ll go to Epcot 7/5 for their show - I am really excited for this show in particular. Have a great trip, everyone! May the crowds and weather be in your favor!
