Changing classic rides is always problematic. But going into Country Bears now and seeing kids engaged, laughing and singing along, in a show that was near closing, shows what a reimagining can do. It can keep a classic show from closing completely. I have been going to WDW since the mid 70’s. Will I miss the old CoP?
If I have to pick a favorite...it will be boats. So casual and relaxing. But since you do not always have a choice or many choices when trying to get from point A to point B, I am super happy that WDW does offer transportation. Disney transportation is truly one of my favorite things about staying in the Disney Bubble.
Hoop Dee Doo is so much fun. The food and drink are fun...the entertainment is incredible! Made me laugh and smile till my face hurt!
Figment...well, not just Figment. The Imagination Pavilion. Of all things at Walt Disney World to be subpar. Imagination. Disney and Imagination go hand in hand. I still wear mine. I can understand people not wearing them, especially if you have an apple watch. I do not have the apple watch, and the Magic Band is so easy to use as door key, park tap in, fast pass tap in, photo pass tap in. Magic Band is still magical for me.
I love the Muppet theme and feel like it is a great fit for Hollywood Studios...dare I say, a better fit than Aerosmith.

I ate at Chef Mickey's a few months back (after not eating there for like 20 years) and was ready for a not great food experience...It is not signature dining or fine dining, but I found it to be really tasty and went back for a few items because they were so good.
I have February use year...because that is what they offered, and I did not know better. I usually travel in Dec., Jan. or Feb., So February is not a good use year for me...but in 24 years of owning DVC, it has never been a problem.
I went to Hoop Dee Doo Revue a few months back. Sitting on the benches across from the ticketing area of Hoop Dee Doo, and seeing the construction of the tower hovering over the building is a vibe killer. I hope they can do something about that view...maybe plant some giant redwood trees. LOL

I love Skipper Canteen! It is wonderful to have a restaurant with the atmosphere and quality of that in a theme park. I also love Tiffins at Animal Kingdom. Have had amazing dining experiences at both!
I drive, it is about 8 hours. My room is always ready when i arrive. I usually make dinner plans somewhere on property with local friends. I end the night with an adult beverage, and early to bed to be ready for early entry. My home resort is BCV, so sometimes (when using an annual pass and staying at BCV ) I can take

My next trip is not until December, but i am glad they are doing a big celebration. My first trip to WDW was during the bicentennial celebration in 1976. I have fun memories of the decor, parade and character costumes from that celebration.
I am super excited about this re-theme, will be a perfect fit!
I have stayed at several resorts at WDW, and continue try others. All are wonderful, but BCV is the one that feels like home to me. It is my FAV!
Getting to see both during the same trip, like the OP, sounds fun! I love the decor and the feeling during the Christmas season. Even if not doing the MNSSHP and MVMCP. The weather can be really nice that time of year.
