Howdy from the Great Plains

Hello! What part of the great plains are you in? One thing you will definitely want to consider is the expiration date of each resort. Some expire as soon as 2042 so you will want to think about how long you might want to keep taking Disney trips. Of course a shorter expiration isn't necessarily bad either. We just pur

Help for Q&A

Thanks. I just see the dots just now. When I click the thread, it just takes me to the top of it. Is there anyway for it to automatically take me to the first post of the thread that is unread to me?

Disneyland Hotel Villas Owners Thread

We just purchased VDH points a couple months ago. They are also our first direct points. We haven't stayed at VDH yet or even at the Disneyland hotel. But we visited while we were staying at VGC in December and really liked it! I especially like the hotel grounds and the overall vibe of everything. Our first stay here

Villas at Grand Californian Owners Thread

VGC was our first DVC purchase and we love it! So far we've only had two VGC stays, both times in studios. Our first 1 bedroom stay is coming up in June and I'm looking forward to it! I really just love the overall vibe/style of the hotel. It just feels good being there. And I love eating breakfast outside at Craftsman

Help for Q&A

Also, is there a way to tell if a post I commented on has had more posts added since the last time I visited? I don't want to have to click through every single one to check for updates/comments.

Grocery Options near Disneyland Resort

When we stayed at VGC in December, we just ordered groceries (snack, a case of water bottles, fruit cups, etc.) from Walmart through Instacart. We didn't get the best shopper and he was late though. So next time, we just plan to put in an earlier time in the day and have the items left with Bell Service. Other nearby s

11am Park Hopping

I don't recall even hearing about this. Will we still need to make reservations and enter that park first? I wish they'd ditch reservations all together. They seems really unnecessary, except maybe during holidays.

Non Disney Hotels near Disneyland

I think it depends on what is most important to you. Proximity/walking distance? Free breakfast? Doors that open to inside hallways? Etc. We always use to stay on Harbor. I really like Park Vue because it's right across the street. It's just a regular motel but the proximity to the park entrance was the most important

What else would you like to see with Disneyland Forward?

I would love Avatar to be totally axed. I have no interest in it at all. Would love to see a Frozen land. Or Zootopia (even though I still need to watch this.) I'm excited about the Coco ride! Feeling "meh" about the new rides coming to the Avengers campus though. As a VDH owner, I'd love it there is eventually a park

Welcome to DVC Fan Forums!

Hi everyone! My real name is Jill but I'm going with Clara since that's the name I use on another Disney-related forum. (It's a reference to a character from Doctor Who.) I'm 44 years old and live in Nebraska. My husband and I will be spending our 20th anniversary at Disneyland this summer. We have a 12 year old son wh
