The Disney Gift Card Deals Megathread
I was just able to snag multiple discounted cards from DG. They have to be run through as separate transactions, but they all came through 10% off.

I saw one blog said no reopening date has been announced and another said closed until at least June. Hope it opens back up as quickly as it closed for people visiting this time of year since it was an unexpected one.
Done! @YamKriegs what a great idea. Everyone is so right… What can’t Ben do? He’s a wizard.
I really liked Riviera’s balcony because our room and the balcony were very clean and maintained pretty well. The other one would have been the Poly Tower because that was only a few months old when we got a waitlist there. Again very clean and the furniture wasn’t too old/beaten up.
We love all of the lounges at the Poly too. As soon as we get to Disney, our tradition is go to Tambu Lounge and have a tropical drink. We got to try Geo-82 for the first time last year, and my wife enjoyed it much more than I did. I’m gonna grab an ADR there when we go back in June because I think it was just too earl
Thanks so much. We will definitely have to look into this.
After we got home from our honeymoon paying cash for a Savannah view at Jambo house, I started researching DVC. It was a few months later we got 100 points direct at the Grand. Then we saved up because we wanted to get the remaining 50 for the “perks” just out of pure fomo. The Grand had sold out, but the Poly tower op
I keep seeing references to owners lockers. I assume these are just storage containers that are kept at Disney for a fee? Are there specific companies that provide these or are they through Disney? What do other people use? We are from Northeast PA and this sounds like it would make traveling to Disney much easier.
We did a split stay last year - Poly Tower to Riviera to Saratoga Springs. We typically go to Disney for a week. I would not recommend doing more than two changes in a week unless you really like doing it. We just wanted to try some of the other resorts that weren’t our home resort. We’re doing the Poly to Grand Florid
@MrsGeologist thats so exciting! Wailulu has the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. My wife’s favorite drink is the Passionfruit and Pineapple Daiquiri. The Wayfinder burger and the short rib loco moco were very good too. We like to watch the fireworks by Wailulu too. Hope you have a great time.
I’m a big fan of the bar out on the water at Boathouse and Nomad Lounge also. Victoria Falls I think is the best hidden gem of a bar. It’s such a cool concept right in between those two floors at Jambo House.
Agree with @Ryan C and everyone else on Geyser point and @SavannaViewsOnly on Tambu lounge. Both are excellent. For us, it’s leave Magic Kingdom at lunchtime when everyone is running to Casey’s and take the monorail over to the Contemporary and get the stack burger at Steakhouse 71. Last time we went there it was dead
I agree with @EllenDVC3 on Morimoto Asia. My wife and I love that place. Also, I think we both can’t wait to get the burger from Steakhouse 71 for lunch on one of our Magic Kingdom days. Personally, I love California Grill for a nice dinner. We ate there and at Victoria and Albert’s on our honeymoon. I thought the food
We bought at the Poly in 2024. This wasn’t a resort at first that I thought that I would like. I always was in love with the Grand Floridian. On our first DVC stay at the Grand in 2024, I said let’s go over to the Poly for a drink, and that was all it took for my wife and I to fall in love with the resort. We bought mo
We added on about a year after our first DVC stay and didn’t even stay in a one bedroom. We got 100 points at the Poly when the tower opened. Addonitis is real folks!
For my wife and I, the GF was our first home resort, and that is where we stayed the first time we went to Disney as DVC members. It was always that resort that as a kid I’d say in my head, “What do people do to be able to afford to stay there,” while riding the monorail to Magic Kingdom. When my wife and I were finall
Hi everyone! My name is Ed, and I’ve been listening to DVC Fan podcast since 2023. You guys filled in the blanks for me when I was getting ready to buy our first DVC contract, and I cannot thank you enough. I look forward to my ride home every Monday to listen to the podcast. My wife and I are from Northeast PA, about
