My wife and I have always loved Disney and honeymooned there. We now have a son and twin daughters! It will be my daughter’s first time at WDW this coming summer and super excited to share the magic with them.

Hello Dvc fan family! We are exicted to be here! From Western MA! Started my disney trips in 1984, we honeymooned in 1997 and almost bought dvc but needed the money for a home! Raised our 2 sons on disney and bought in finally in 2016. We own at BWV. Excited to go back in 6 days with both adult sons and one new almost daughter in law.

Excited to try out this new site! Been following DVCFAN since it started. Been a DVC member with my family since 2018. Thanks for keeping this ad free, other sites get a little annoying with all the ads!!

When we first started researching DVC, I relied heavily on information from sources like this. (Paul and Amy were part of that one too).

We own at 3 different resorts and travel to Florida 2 times per year. We were lucky to meet the whole crew last fall during the fireworks party. I look forward to more activities in the future. Glad to be here and GO BLUE💙💛

Checking in from Upstate NY (true Upstate, near the Adirondacks). Great to meet everyone and excited to be a part of this community.

My sister and I FINALLY joined DVC in January '25 with a direct contract at Poly Towers. We are already looking at resale contracts...Her and I have been doing brother/sister trips since our first one together in 2004 when I took her for high school graduation. We do occasionally bring our husbands and her kids. Sometimes we even bring our parents. But our annual trek is always non negotiable. Our love started in 1990 when our parents took us on our first trip. We stayed at Fort Wilderness and took the train down. We will never forget any of it.

We love dining and hitting all the lounges (Brown Derby Lounge is our current favorite with Nomad a close second). Of course we shop and enjoy the parks when we have time.

Love the DVCFan group! I listen to them weekly on Spotify. Excited to be a part of this group and look forward to reading and writing trip reports!

My name is Arthur Zepeda, and I am thrilled to join this community! This is my wife Lina and me at the Disneyland main entrance, which pretty much sums up who we are.

A little about us:

We became DVC members back in 2005 and have never looked back. We own at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa (SSR)and Villas at Disneyland Hotel (VDH), which means we get the best of both coasts but our hearts will always belong to the original Disneyland. We have been Disneyland fans for decades, and the park holds some of our most treasured family memories.

I am also a U.S. Army veteran, a small business owner here in the Central Valley, and a lifelong Star Wars fan since 1977, so Galaxy's Edge feels a little bit like home every single time we walk through it.

Looking forward to connecting with fellow DVC members, swapping trip reports, and learning from this community. We are happy to be here!

Another fantasic way to be part of this amazing community.

We are from Ontario Canada, and we drive down to WDW each trip. We could probably do the 21 hours blindfolded at this point, but won't attempt it.

This year is going to be a record year for us. We typically do two trips per year, but our daughter got accepted into the Cultural Exchange Program, so we had to add two more trips to drop her off and pick her up! Exciting times!

We will hit 3 out of the 4 Epcot festivals, which is just mind blowing to us. Don't know how we'll ever top this, but DVC gets better with age right!?

Just want to take a second and thank Paul, Amy and everyone involved in creating this forum. The DVC Fan FB group has been by far the best place for DVC and just general Disney questions on FB. Some of the other pages are just so mean!

My journey started when I was placed on light duty this past fall from an injury at the fire station. We had just got back from a trip to BLT and VGF on rented points and were sold on DVC. I found the DVC FAN and World of DVC show on YouTube and binge watched them all. We bought our first contract, 150 points at Saratoga through Derek at DVC resale market which was awesome because I already felt like I knew him. That was in November and now we have already added on 75 at BLT. We have our first trip planned using our own points coming up in May and can’t wait!!!

This club is so special and I’m so thankful to DVC resale market and all the related companies for making DVC a possibility for people who can’t afford direct.

P.S- please don’t ever stop making YouTube videos! It gets me through my Disney depression when I get back from a trip 🤣

We own at hhi since 2021 and ccv since 2025.

Derek you are the man! So glad I stumbled upon the world of dvc show. Your personality and love for DVC drew my wife and I in and convinced us to take the plunge. Exciting to be here! We've been DVC owners since 2016 and our home resorts are at PVB and VGC. I still can't belive we have been members for a decade already. It feels like yesterday that we were signing on the Mickey heads and getting that very expensive tote!

Hey everyone! My name is Joe and I’m excited for join the new DVC fan forums. We’ve been coming to Disney World as a family consistently since 2017. In 2024 we finally became DVC members (and yes, we wish we had bought sooner 😂). We’re currently owners at Beach Club and the Polynesian… and then add-on-itis kicked in hard—we just passed ROFR on a Grand Floridian contract.

We’re from the Philadelphia area and we’ve been loving the DVC community for years. Looking forward to this new format to stay connected, share trips, and chat with everyone.

Started with renting last minute points on a fire sale, then moved to put a bid on resale that same weekend with the same company- shoutout Jodi. I did not want to stretch my travel budget much so I kept buying in chunks over the next year or so. Ended up with Aulani, Boardwalk, Beach Club and Grand Cal. Focused on where we wanted studio availability advantage because I’m a super planner. We have visited many countries, in a cruise phase and do at least one Disney park and Aulani annually. Many use years, tons of research, and actively use DVC Fan, Market etc to help me along the way. Oh and besides a trip in middle school (worst trip!) I haven’t done any Disney trips until about 13 years ago. Haven’t stopped since. Because I live in Hawaii, Aulani is our easy staycation and I’ll be there this week!

Hello everyone! It's great to join the community here on the new forums.

I'm Eric. I live in PA with my beautiful wife Stephanie and our two adult children. We toured OKW when it was just THE DVC in 1994 on our Honeymoon at the Beach Club. Couldn't pull the trigger then, but bought sight-unseen at BCV as soon as sales began in PA. Randy was our guide and somehow still works for DVC. Added on at Bay Lake, but sold it through Derek to partially finance my dream of owning at the Poly.

We made it through the "yearly trips in the summer with the kids" stage of our lives, now that they are 23 and 26 we are at the "Mostly Cruise but drop down for a quick weekend in the parks" phase.

Current life goals: Make it to retirement from the public school system either this year or next year, visit Aulani, cruise to Alaska, do Adventures by Disney London/Paris, and complete the Festival Slam by doing all the Epcot festivals in one calendar year.

My wife Elise and I are owners at OKW and SSR. We have 2 adult kids who still love traveling with us, especially to WDW:)

We live in Northeast PA and are retiring soon. We plan to use our DVC points as part of a FL snow-birding strategy, hopefully spending about 5-6 weeks on property every year along with a month or so on the Gulf Coast somewhere.

Hello Kelly and Beth from SE Ohio. Been going to Disney since our Honeymoon in 2001. Return trips in 2006,2008, 2017 and we were there when it shut down for covid in 2020 (lost part of our stay) and 2024, Disney Land in 2025 an 2026. Bought 210 points at Saratoga resale through DVC resale market (thanks for all the help Kerri MacPherson) in Sept of 2025 and just added 150 direct points Saratoga 2 days ago. We are 3 weeks from our 25th wedding (30 together) anniversary trip and our first DVC stay and first time since 2020 the whole family will be there plus 2 fiancés gain since then! Looking forward to growing the DVC experience with everyone!

Retirement just around the corner! That's so exciting. My mom just retired from teaching high school English and she is really enjoying her free time and still keeping busy with lots of fun projects.

This is so fun. My name is Joy. I found DVC Fan when I purchased VDH direct in September 2023 and was looking for a room tour - and I have been (as my 11 yo daughter says) a "DVCFan Fan" since, faithfully watching every Monday!

My husband Nathan (married 25 years in July) and I also own at BLT, purchased in 2019 from DVC Resale Market and used our points for the first time in the middle of the pandemic!

I am a Disneyland Magic Keyholder and live about 45 minutes away from Disneyland - my 2 youngest daughters (ages 11 and 14) and I visit about once a month. I also have two older kids who are away in college.

DVC has got to be one of my favorite things about Disney, although I also love Disney Cruises and just food at Disney parks in general. Glad to have a place to hang out with other Disney nerds!

I'm super new to DVC, having just purchased BLT resale and Poly direct last fall. I'm excited to learn from this forum like I have from the DVCFan YouTube channel.

Howdy! I'm Alison. I am currently homeschooling my 2 teenagers, Caleb (16) and Grace (13), and working part-time as an Operations Director for rental homes in NE Texas. My husband, Zeb, is an engineer for a defense contractor. Zeb is obsessed with Stitch; he has a collection of over 500 Stitch plushes/pins/Loungeflys/shirts, etc. We live on an 85-acre farm with our German Shepherd, Luna, and raise cows and chickens. WDW is our happy place, and we find ourselves escaping there for short trips 5-6 times a year.

After 50+ Disney trips since 2016, we decided it was time to buy into DVC and bought 150 direct points at the Polynesian in January. We took our "Welcome Home" trip to Aulani in March and have our first Polynesian stay as DVC members booked for "626 Day" at the end of June, along with Moonlight Magic! Our motto is "we work hard, so we can play hard."

My name is Mason Keel. I am 36 years old and live in Arcanum, OH. I am married to my wife Aimee and we have 3 Children, pictured below, ages 6, 5, and 2. I am a Production Planning Manager at a company called Henny Penny where we make fryers and equipment for the likes of Chick Fil A, McDonalds, etc. I am 2 weeks away from finishing my masters in supply chain and logistics at Bowling Green State University. I am looking forward to a Disney trip without any schoolwork due!

We have been DVC members since July of 2025. We own direct at Riviera and resale at Boardwalk. My favorite resort is Boardwalk for obvious reasons (anyone who owns there knows!). MY wife and daughter are particular to the Grand Floridian, so our next case of addonitis will likely be cured with a resale contract from there. We started our Disney journey back in 2019 when my wife and I visited ourselves as a babymoon while pregnant with our first child. We loved it so much and couldn't wait to come back. Thanks to having a newborn during a pandemic, that did not happen until 2022 where we rented points through DVC rental store for a stay at the Grand. I remember riding the ferry over to MK during our first visit and thinking "I don't know what that place is, but I will stay there one day". During that stay, I took a DVC tour. Like many, we were gun shy and needed to know more. That took until 2025 when we drove up to visit the Riviera and meet with our guide during a beach vacation in Anna Maria. We fell in love with the Riv at first sight and visited the Poly tower next, as a formality and to sign our contract. We've visited several times since becoming DVC and just can't seem to get enough. I'll credit the DVC fan facebook group and the weekly podcast for informing me to the point that I knew things my guide didn't when purchasing. I don't regret DVC a bit and look forward to many more years of magic and continuing to connect with fellow DVC'ers.

My top 3 resorts are Boardwalk, Riviera, and Grand Floridian. My favorite parks are Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom.

Hi all! My family bought direct last summer at Poly, had our Welcome Home stay in Feb at BLT and are currently waiting to clear ROFR in our first resale contract there. So happy to be a part of this community! Everyone has been so helpful in answering all my questions. We found DVC Fan thanks to Amy and Paul’s YouTube tours of the rooms, and have been so grateful for all the helpful info and videos everyone at DVC fan has posted.

My name is Jon, and my wife and I are major Disney nerds, and have been DVC since Thanksgiving of 2024. My brother and his wife have been owners at AKL for over 10 years now, but my wife and I were trying to get some financial things sorted… and then bought at Riviera in 2024. We live in SoCal, and are passholders at Disneyland, but are excited to be making more frequent trips to Florida.

We are a blended family, with 5 boys… so things can get chaotic fast. Now that they are “grown” it isn’t as bad. Here is a picture from Christmas 2024 when we took the entire group, and stayed on property (at VDH). (Pic is in the VGC lobby, because we love their tree @ Christmas)

Hi everyone! My name is Ed, and I’ve been listening to DVC Fan podcast since 2023. You guys filled in the blanks for me when I was getting ready to buy our first DVC contract, and I cannot thank you enough. I look forward to my ride home every Monday to listen to the podcast.

My wife and I are from Northeast PA, about 20 mins from Scranton (yes that Scranton). I’m a CPA, and my wife is a teacher. We own contracts at the Grand Floridian and the Poly. I was excited to hear about the forums because I’m not a big fan of social media. I’m looking forward to interacting with this community.

Thank you for the wonderful space to continue many great DVC fan conversations! We’re owners at Bay Lake and just closed on our first add-on at our favorite place, Boulder Ridge. Hello DVC Fan community! I'm Mary from North Carolina and am a long time Disney fan (went to Walt Disney World the first year it was open!). My husband has tolerated me and I've successfully indoctrinated my children, who are now 25 and 29 years old, in the ways of Disney.

I'll never forget the trip we took to the Boardwalk (for $99 dollars a night) when they were first selling Boardwalk and Hilton Head contracts--my daughter was a toddler. My husband said "sure let's hear what this is about" and I was shocked (and thrilled) after we attended the presentation when he told me, "it might be a good idea to buy into this thing." We have loved and enjoyed our membership ever since! Our daughter is now married (and having DVC allowed her a wonderful honeymoon in Hawaii) and we are actively working on her spouse...

Greetings from another Jersey Shore native here (Exit 98 on the parkway).

With my dad being in the military, I grew up with Disney trips to Shades of Green, with my only exposure to deluxe resorts being as we passed by them via the monorail and thinking “that’s where the rich people stay”.

30 years later, and now a dad myself, I’m lucky enough to own at one of those pipe dream resorts (The Poly) + Beach Club (my family’s official happy place).

We just left the bubble after a spring break trip this past weekend, and on the way back to the airport the Mears bus picked up a group from Shades of Green - where I hadn’t been in years. it was a true full circle moment.

As we were getting on the plane to come home, we booked our next flight to come back down. It took the sting of leaving down just a bit. We’ll be ringing in the 4th of July with our first stay at the Island Tower!

Hi Friends! My name is Rhiannon, nice to meet you all. As you can see in the second photo of baby Rhiannon, Disney has been in my life since I can remember. One of my favorite memories from one of the first trips after buying our resale contract. Really love the content and enjoy being part of the community! Needless to say, I am a little more enthusiastic than Terri in my fandom, but she allows me to keep bringing her back every so often.
