I love my Magic Band! DW and I put ours on the moment we deplane at MCO. That's how we know vacation has begun. I also really like the functionality of the band at WDW. When we are at Disneyland we really miss being able to use it as a room key or for early entry when that was still a thing.
I am planning a stay for September 2027. Hoping to get a one bedroom at seven months for 4-5 nights. Yeah, that May heat in Orlando is quite jolting. It does get downright tropical in my neck of the woods but not until June and July. Winter sounds like a good plan! DW and I have talked about doing Festival of the Arts quite a bit. We have December use year, so it definitely would work out.

We have 75 across 2 contracts at BWV, and 100 across two contracts at VGC. All resale. I wouldn't mind adding on at Boardwalk if a smallish contract pops up. We are one bedroom people. It would be nice to have a few more points for more premium views.
VGC was the first DVC we decided to buy because it was becoming so darn hard to find owners willing to rent. We actually ended up buying and closing on a resale Boardwalk contract while waiting for the right Grand Cal contract to show up.
