Do you still use a magic band?
Does anyone even still use these? Feels like theyโre dying off!
For the first time Iโm thinking of just using my Apple Watch on my next trip!

I still wear mine when we stay. We are local now and go to the parks a lot but we only
Wear our bands when we have a resort Stay so we feel like weve gone โon vacation โ lol weโve got the same magic band plus ones we Bought in 2019 and they still work fine.

I still wear mine. I can understand people not wearing them, especially if you have an apple watch. I do not have the apple watch, and the Magic Band is so easy to use as door key, park tap in, fast pass tap in, photo pass tap in. Magic Band is still magical for me.
Have fun, and "See Ya Real Soon!"

I still use mine for resort stays (so much easier for the room door), but since becoming a local, I find using my watch is easier for day visits because I wear it daily anyway.
Happy to call the BoardWalk, Bay Lake Tower, and Grand Floridian home!
Yep every time we go including the cruise last winter.
Yes. I take the puck off and attach it to the strap of my galaxy watch with a little rubber thing I bought on etsy.
Yes, I love it... now i don't tend to use it for Special Disney Charging Priveleges... but I love having it... a huge part of the trip...
Absolutely love Magic bands. I have an Apple Watch and id take Magic bands over it anyday.
Itโs a huge mental shift for being on vacation. Room/tickets/cruise/payments/etc. itโs great. Really hoping the rumors of them slowly being phased out are incorrect

.
I wear both my Magicband+ on one arm snd my Apple Watch on the other. That way I donโt have to contort to swipe in to the parks. Which is hard from my wheelchair.
Itโs kinda fun to do the impossible. โ Walt Disney
Yes! I never got into smart watches, but having something on you wrist beats having to dig out a physical card to open your room or enter the park.
I can see them phasing them out eventually (like they did with paper fastpasses.) It will definitely stink for those of us luddites that are not immediately equipped with something that can take it's place when it does happen, though.
I loathe smart watches as i find myself ties to notifications all day. We love our magic band for tap to pay and room entry at the resorts. I do agree that they seem to be dying off but that os Disneyโs fault for the lack of useful functionality with Magic Band + vs the original.

Yes, I wear my magic band. Very convenient. I do not own an Apple Watch. I have been using the same band for many trips and will continue to do so until it's dead.
I have tried using just my Apple watch and liked it in the parks. However, when I got back to the room, I found digging out my phone and pulling up the app to get into the room cumbersome. Until we get the ability to open our room door with the Apple watch, Iโll continue to use Magic Band.
I love my Magic Band! DW and I put ours on the moment we deplane at MCO. That's how we know vacation has begun. I also really like the functionality of the band at WDW. When we are at Disneyland we really miss being able to use it as a room key or for early entry when that was still a thing.
I not only still use Magic Bands but I still use the very first Magic Band I got back in November 2013 (yes it still works).
