greetings from Opening Day Guests
We live in Minot. I'm surprised ND was your 49th state. Most people leave it for dead last. We like it here, but it is pretty dull and boring.

Love your account name. I was born in Gainesville, graduated from Gainesville High, then UF in 2013. Unfortunately work took us out of state after graduation.
If you go too low @TheROFRMonster is gonna get your contract
Same! Unfortunately, it doesn't look all too likely, but it isn't impossible. Are you familiar with the YouTube channel Hey Brickey? He has a really good video on the challenges they'll face giving the DH a dedicated entrance.
Keep it up! You're giving me the nudge I need. Can't wait to see the summer incentives when they come out tomorrow.
I love this thread. My wife and I bought CCV without ever setting foot on Wilderness Lodge property. And now I'm wrestling with myself over buying at Disneyland Hotel....and we've never been to California! At least I know I'm not alone.
@YamKriegs do you or Paul have an update on how much of Riviera has been sold?
Oh super cool! We're in Minot. We moved here in 2014. We've come to love it. And as much as we love Disney, when we get back to ND, we always take a deep breath and enjoy the slower pace here. How do you enjoy owning at AKV? I've got an idea percolating to maybe take two of my girls (currently 5 and 6 years old) to AKV
Maybe you're right, but I can't ever see it happening. Your point about reservations being harder to get in the future is interesting, I hadn't considered it before. I guess it depends on the habits of people that love BWV and BCV, and what they do after 2042. How many of them just quit DVC after that? How many decide
Hello you wonderful VDH owners! Have any of you bought at VDH without ever visiting Anaheim before? We've never been, and I really want to buy a direct contract before the minimum buy in for perks goes up. We don't have a visit planned until January of 2027. And I'm afraid that'll be too late. I'm sure we'll love the O
The big question there is, WHEN does LSL go on sale? All signs point to Riviera being completely sold out sometime this year. I think just before LSL goes on sale, that's when minimums are raised. To me the biggest mystery is does it go up by 25 or 50 points? And absolutely none of this is helping me decide what to do.
The consensus on Vero and Hilton Head is that they'll be sold off. Its pretty clear OKW is being ROFR'd into a 2057 resort. I bet Boardwalk and Beach Club will be re-imagined into new properties with new point charts that match the demand. Who knows about Boulder Ridge. Probably the same as BCV and BWV.
Seems like a lot of us have that idea! 😅 Because right now the incentives for Poly are not very strong. But still, I'd rather buy 150 points at 2026 prices, than 200 at 2027 prices 😬
Who knows maybe we'll run into each other! If you see a short guy with a beard and a pretty lady that is about 6 months pregnant, that's us!
I'm going to make a copy and nerd on that soon. I made a simple spreadsheet the other day showing how I could switch between a studio and 2 bedroom on 100 points at Disneyland from one year to the next. But I didn't save it. 😓
We have a couple of trips lined up. My wife and I are visiting in June with no kids. Initially we were staying at P.O.R., but then on Facebook I found a rental at Boulder Ridge. So I jumped on it because we are Copper Creek owners. So this June trip has changed a ton. Initially it was going to be an EPCOT and Hollywood
My wife and I have dinner reservations at Wailulu in June, along with a tour of the Island Tower lined up. I really think we will become owners there this summer.
