Yeah I agree with you. That's exactly what I am thinking. And why I think this summer I'll be pulling the trigger on a direct contract at the Poly. I wasn't wanting to buy a direct contract so soon, but I'd rather get the "benefits" at 150 points than 200.
We have a 14 year old down to a 1 year old. So we still have those little kid visits. But I think a lot about bringing grandkids one day!
Thats a good mix of resorts. I'm always tempted to buy Saratoga just so I can escape North Dakota in the winter and have easy access to golf and outdoor dining at Disney Springs. Things I desperately miss come January.
If you want to buy LL resale, it'll take awhile for those contracts to hit the market. If you think you'll enjoy it so much that only staying there won't bother you, resale is the way to go! There's no harm in waiting to buy a different resale contract, unless its at a 2042 hotel. The clock is ticking there.
Very true. I can't see visiting more than twice per year now, with airfare being what it is. Between Jan 2026 and Jan 2027 we have 4 trips scheduled, and it's been tough! Maybe 3 is the sweet spot for us, but 4 is too much.
We love the yacht club. We are on a never ending quest to make our house smell like that 24/7.
You know what would get me to never buy resale again? Direct points can be used at 8 months for non-home resorts. Give me a one month advantage over everyone else please. But that probably isn't legal.
I've pondered this myself. I think if I ever was worried about losing points, that's too many points. And if I ever get to the point that I'm stressing my annual dues, I probably have too many points.
Hey Daniel! Where in Missouri? My dad's side of the family is in the KC area. My wife and I bought Copper Creek last fall, having never set foot on Wilderness Lodge property. 😅 But I had lunch at Whispering Canyon back in January. Tons of fun! My wife and I have our first stay at Boulder Ridge this coming June. And th
So this is what I'm considering right now: -150 direct at Poly Tower -Sell Copper Creek, don't need 2 MK area home resorts -100 resale at Disneyland Hotel -75 resale at Boardwalk It's all contingent on how much we like the Island Tower when we visit in June, and how much I like Disneyland in January. Neither of us has
