The "Disney Adults" book was just awful. It was not at all what I was expecting or hoping for. I finished it, but it felt like I was being punished.

We just returned from a short, yet awesome Disney trip. First, 2 nights at the OG aka OKW. Then 2 nights at Pop Century...never enough dang points! Pop was OK, but DVC resorts definitely more our vibe. We did MLM at Epcot, our first one. It was stellar. Snack tickets were clutch, weather was perfection and seeing Soari
Update since this post...added another 250 (joint ownership with in-laws) at OKW. Current total points over 4 deeds now 1005....525 at SSR, 480 at OKW(2042's) Still shopping, always, always shopping! Looking at YOU Riviera...don't tell Derek yet :)
Wife and I are doing a short trip next month for her birthday...2 nights Pop Century, 2 nights OKW using the BOGO offer from membership magic beyond. We booked this months ago... But then, GOT LUCKY! Moonlight Magic announced on one of the days we were already booked at OKW and we were able to get the resy. Will be our
For sure, in olden times the BW was just as much of a night-time destination as Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island...but it never had anything as delightful as The Adventurers Club. KUNGALOOSH!
Sadly, Elise and I cannot make it to Winterfest 2027. I feel bad, as I had previously been bugging Paul to schedule more DVC Fan events and I am SO THANKFUL that DVC Fan has done so. But...we are scheduled for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Sicily in late-January/Feb that will keep us away. We are very much excited for F
Thanks to the valiant efforts of DVC Derek we defeated the ROFR monster last month and added on another 250 at OKW. This will take us to a family total of 1005. Sounds like a lot...BUT...IDK, Riviera looks awesome so you never know!?!?!? We like studios because we like to stay as long as possible and we are hoping for
We are buying our first AP's this year. Both retiring this year, so much more flexibility ahead. Not sure which one to buy, but leaning towards the Sorcerers Pass. Being able to pop in and out of parks for short visits on travel days will be awesome! Even though we have 2 trips planned between now and January, if we se
Mr. ROFR Monster, Hello sir. I am hopeful that your appetite is now adequately satisfied by chowing down our OKW contract on Thursday(230 points at $77 pp). We have a new agreement in place for 250 points at $84 pp. That MUST be expensive enough for you to pass this one by...right? Best wishes and kindest regards to yo
Damn you ROFR Monster 😔 You are an evil and dastardly creature!! Yesterday, you scarfed down our 230 point OKW contract @ $77 a point 😠 😡 Why, why WHY???
Pizza al Taglio, the little pizza window at Via Napoli at the Italian pavilion in Epcot is so, so good. A hot slice and a cold Peroni are magical!
Those are both most excellent! I have a drink at Polite Pig every single trip while the fam does some shopping...
Sebastian's Bistro is legit awesome and a great deal!
OKW vibe is the best! Disney Springs proximity for SSR is awesome! Both are great in their own ways...
Skyliner Boats Walking Bus Monorail Minnie Vans
I agree totally! Can dues cost a boatload of money if you own a lot points??? YESS!!!!! However, far fewer headaches with DVC ownership as opposed to buying a near-by condo...and if I were to buy one of comparable quality to my DVC accomodations, I could not afford to own that type of luxury.
Yes, it could definitely be better. Yes, I would definitely pay more if it were better. However, for now...I will keep buying it as it is just for the 12 FREE one-time use points. Anything else I use is a bonus... :)
My wife and I are 2-3 years away from giving this a try. We will have 525 total SSR points in 3 contracts and 462 OKW points in 2 contracts....so, 987 total. Some of the contracts we co-own with my in-laws, but all will be available for us at some point. We are unsure how long we can stay in a studio with no kitchen/la
The Tides is excellent! We have also enjoyed Citrus Grill house and really, really enjoyed Heaton's which is the pool bar at the Kimpton Hotel
