Anyone at CCV with the A/C failure? How are you coping? Sure hope everything turns out ok.
Quick Poll. Who is thinking of adding on or buying into Lake Shore Lodge?
Wow it looks like LSL is going to be a hard sell for adding on! Pretty much what I thought.

We will be at BWV in mid October. It will be really interesting to see the progress on Amazon and Bubbles. Very excited for BW to get a second life.

For us we will be looking at the point chart for sure. We already have 3 WDW home resorts, a fourth maybe a bit much. However BWV expires in 2042 and it would be great to have a replacement for those points when it happens. I expect it to take years to sell out, so there is time.

I just hope that the bus stop has multiple bays like they do at AKV Jambo and not a single bay like at the contemporary and BWV. With just a single curbside pickup things can get really chaotic. At BWV, for instance we had to wait for a MK bus to load 3 or 4 wheel chairs and scooters before the AK bus could even enter

True, However I have never stayed at those and dont know first had what the bus situation is like. I do know that at the Contemporary that has 950+ rooms, it can be a bit of on issue with multiple bus waits. And at the Contemporary you have walking and the Monorail as alternate transportation options. With only Busses

I dont know about most people, but when we stay at BLT we tend to avoid the busses. The Contemporary with BLT is around 950 rooms. The Bus situation to AK or HS can be a mad house first thing in the morning. We generally just visit MK or take the Monorail to Epcot. Occasionally we will take a bus to AK. but generally l

You are correct in that there is only 1 stop. or its 950 some odd rooms. However the contemporary has other means of transport as well such as the Monorail, and the walking path . It can be a mad house getting a bus to AK or DS, especially first thing in the morning. That is why we almost never use a bus when staying a
If you had a Disney wish, what would you have them bring back?
Never used Magical Express, but see why people loved it. Resort Package Delivery and Early Entry at DLR are what I miss.

Ok I just skimmed these posts and did not see anyone asking about transportation. 900+ rooms. Thats a lot of folks to move around. How many bus stops will there be? If just one, that will cause issues. Imagine everyone trying to hop a bus to Epcot or HS for rope drop? Already at the larger DVC properties it can get pre

I was not implying that it would, sorry if I gave that impression The size of the resort will make transportation interesting at the least. More busses and more boats for sure. I dont think it will impact BLT directly. just everything over all.

It really shows how much LSL changes the shoreline and skyline. Not for the better. I really wonder how transportation will be impacted with 900+ rooms coming on line. When we stay at BLT, we generally just go to MK. No Disney transportation required. We do take the Monorail over to the other resorts, but not a peak ti

We Love BLT! Great Points Chart, Great Location, Fantastic Refurb, What is not to love. Our next trip is in October for MNSSHP. Doing a split stay with BWV. MK at BLT and Epcot/HS at BWV. Usually go with our grandkids to BLT in a 2 bedroom, this is our first trip solo in a 1 BR. Only thing we dont like about the refurb
What's Your Use Year?
I think I would find Dec. better than June, which is mine. I am always confused as to which UY i'm in! Is it June 25 even thought it is now 2026?
AddOn-Itis - how do you know when?
We started adding on when I was getting ready to retire. We always wanted more trips, but work, life, kids, expenses all seemed to get in the way. While I was still working, we started our quest for more points. We now have 1008, split among both coasts. We went by the old adage, buy where you want to stay. SO we ended
