Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

I have always been too scared to ride but I LOVE the Muppets so we'll see if I can work up the courage. At a minimum will walk the queue and use the "chicken exit." I'm hoping for some fun new Muppets merch!!

I hope this is good….im a huge fan of the muppets but man, they aren’t closing for very long. Tells me they aren’t changing a lot. 😳

I agree. This was a panic move after the backlash for taking away Muppet Vision and the Muppets courtyard. The least they can do is make it good. Also, give me more episodes of the Muppet Show. That will help with the pain.

I'm so excited about this! Obviously Aerosmith was great but Muppets theming could be really good if done right!

Tom Bricker over at DisneyTouristBlog has some good analysis on this. He usually goes pretty deep on theme park updates, and he's a huge fan of the Muppets in general. Anyway, he did point out that the ride was always designed to quickly strip away the Aerosmith theming, in the event of some unseemly rock band behavior or whatever.

I think that is the post he has been updating since Muppet Vision's departure was announced and their re-appearance at the coaster was slated.

I have the same concern - I love the ride and can't argue that it was stale and needed change, but I also love Aerosmith - I hope they include I love Trash that Steven Tyler did on Elmopalooza 25 years ago :). Hope they take the time to get things in great, like newish, working order!!

I adore the Muppets and just want to see the LOVE! I've never ridden Rock 'N Roll Rollercoaster...too nervous I guess. With the Muppets, I'll give it a try. I really want more though, can you bring us a Muppet show?

It does seem like they are just pasting the Muppets over Aerosmith, but I'm here for it.

I never got to ride the Aerosmith version, so Muppets will be a new experience. Animal and the gang will make lots of fans happy!

I'm excited to see the new version of the ride, I enjoy the coaster and I don't think that part is changing at all.

I am excited and I hope they do more with Muppets! I say move the Villains show to MK when Villains land opens and use that space to build a Muppets Courtyard 2.0 and put a Muppets show in the building.

The first 2 songs for Muppets Rock N Rollercoaster have been released, they're Blur's "Song No. 2" and Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild", so a more modern song (Song No. 2 got released in 1997) and a more classic song (Born to be Wild is from 1968).

What do you think of the song list so far?

Oh, I think "Born to Wild" is a great choice!!! I thought that would work for Guardians, so now for the Muppets? YAY!

Literally fell out of my seat yesterday when I heard about Blur! Song 2 is perfect for this ride as is Born to be Wild! Sounds like I'm going to have to ride this over and over....

I like the songs they've picked so far!! There is a video on YouTube with Song 2 overlaid on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and it's perfect for this ride.
